In recent reports from JYPE, it was revealed that ITZY‘s Yeji will limit her participation in upcoming concerts of the girl group due to health issues.
Through a new statement, the agency behind the idol announced that she recently visited the hospital due to lower back pain and had been diagnosed with a herniated disc, which needs special care to preserve her well-being.
The statement also said that according to the specialist’s opinion, “she should minimize back-straining movements”; for that reason, they have decided to restrict her movements during the next weekend tour dates:
“Thus, we inform you that Yeji’s performances on stages will be limited in ITZY 3RD WORLD TOUR <TUNNEL VISION> in JAPAN, which will be held [on] May 9-10, 2026.”
The agency concluded by saying that despite her limitations, the ITZY member will be on stage those days to meet and interact with fans as much as possible. They concluded by apologizing for the concern and assuring that their artist’s health is their priority.
