Hudson Williams and KATSEYE’s Megan join Laufey’s upcoming music video

The Heated Rivalry actor appears in a new project that also features Alysa Liu, Lola Tung, and KATSEYE’s Megan

Hudson Williams enters his music video era

Hudson Williams and KATSEYE’s Megan are part of Laufey’s upcoming “Madwoman” music video. The Canadian actor and the girl group member appear in the project alongside Olympic figure skater Alysa Liu and actress and model Lola Tung. Fans are especially interested because the cast brings together names from different corners of entertainment who are united by their Asian, white, and European backgrounds.

The teasers and the cast are setting expectations high

The video is scheduled for release on April 13, 2026, at 10:00 AM ET, and early reactions are making it go viral already. The project is pulling fans from different demographics, with Alysa Liu bringing attention from the sports world. Then, Lola Tung and Hudson Williams add a strong acting presence, and KATSEYE’s Megan represented a younger pop and K-pop audience.

Laufey has been teasing the project on social media by describing the group as “just some mad madwomen,” which suggests a dramatic and slightly chaotic concept. The first sneak peeks of the music video featured each cast member in a black-and-white photo, hinting at a retro-inspired aesthetic. Now, a new clip is already making moves online. In that short video, Hudson William’s character yells at Laufey, “I’m in love with your sister!” Meanwhile, she responds with a sign that reads “hot,” as the clip describes that “there’s literally nothing he can do or say to push you away.”

The song arrives with Laufey’s deluxe album

“Madwoman” is part of A Matter of Time: The Final Hour, the deluxe edition of Laufey’s album. The expanded project was released on April 10, 2026, and includes 19 tracks in total, with four new songs added to the original record. The original version of A Matter of Time was released on August 22, 2025, through Vingolf Recordings, spawning singles like “Silver Lining,” “Lover Girl,” and “Snow White.”
