A few hours ago, Illumination released the first trailer for their next animated movie, ‘Not Alone,’ starring Timothée Chalamet in his animated debut and Selena Gomez, leaving the message, “There’s more life out there.”
On June 30th, the production company shared the first images of this new romantic comedy and science fiction story, which follows an introverted rocket mechanic and a brilliant astrobotanist who develop feelings for each other while working together to help three adorable aliens who arrive on Earth.
The trailer shows the normal life of Joe and Fran, voiced by Timothée Chalamet and Selena Gomez, respectively, while working together in the first-ever plant-fueled rocket when three aliens named Dunk, Welly, and Shirm suddenly come into their lives to change their plans.
‘Not Alone’ is set to be released in theaters April 16, 2027, and then will be able to stream through Peacock for its pay TV window until finally reaching Netflix.
