During BTS‘ most recent concert, RM surprised fans by speaking German on stage, receiving much praise for his ability to learn new languages.
On July 11th, the boy group performed their first concert in Munich, Germany, singing from their new album ‘ARIRANG‘ in a concert full of moments of interactions with fans and a moment where they shared their own experiences and thoughts.
During these last words, RM revealed that he tried to learn German for them, but he quickly discovered that “German was literally one of the hardest languages I’ve ever seen”; however, he made an effort to bring them a message that earned him much praise.
“Thank you for coming; I’ve missed Germany. You guys are the best! I love you all!” he said in German.

In response, fans scream in excitement and support for his sweet message, while V, by his side, has a weird expression of confusion and shock, as does Jimin, looking at their leader speaking German.
