BTS’ Jungkook has been the target of tens of aggressions when it comes to privacy trespassing, including in his own home. There were several reports that a Brazilian woman stalked BTS’ Jungkook almost 22 times, and the idol’s music agency sued the individual.
On June 23 KST, Entertainment Naver followed the case closely and confirmed the woman walked free after a South Korean court handed down a suspended sentence, which left tens of fans shocked, who were expecting the court to protect BTS’ Jungkook from these serious accusations.

After presiding Judge Park Ji Won of the Seoul Western District Court sentenced the Brazilian national to one year in prison with a two-year suspension on charges of violating South Korea’s anti-stalking law and trespassing. However, despite the repeated violations, the court opted against immediate imprisonment. The judge cited her motivation to “express feelings” rather than “intend harm” as a factor in sentencing.
ARMY is not happy about it as the woman repeatedly visited Jungkook’s residence a total of 22 times in December of last year. Ultimately, the court also noted that the Brazilian woman is expected to be deported once the ruling is finalized, which it deemed sufficient to reduce the risk of reoffending.
