The South Korean agency confirmed that BTS never visited Grouse Lodge Studio in Ireland and is not involved in any MJ project. They are currently in Los Angeles, working on their own material. Similarly, MJ’s team responded to an email regarding the rumored tribute album, saying that the “claims are false.”

BigHit also promised to stop the spread of false information. And while the truth is appreciated, it’s still a bit of a letdown for fans who imagined the Kings of Pop and K-pop coming together.
