BLACKPINK’s Lisa received four nominations for the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards, bringing her career total to 10! This makes the Thai superstar the most-nominated KPop soloist in VMA history. The nominations, announced on August 18, 2026, focus primarily on her work on “DREAM,” featuring Japanese actor Kentaro Sakaguchi. The rapper and singer earned nods for Best Pop, Best K-Pop, Best Cinematography, and Best Editing.

Lisa now leads K-pop soloists with 10 nominations at the awards show, ahead of fellow BLACKPINK member Rosé with eight, BTS vocalist Jungkook with four, and BLACKPINK’s vocalist Jisoo with two. Lisa has also built a strong record in the Best K-Pop category. In 2022, she won the award for “LALISA,” becoming the first solo K-pop artist and female solo K-pop artist to do so. In 2024, she received the recognition again for “ROCKSTAR,” and in 2025 she took the award for “Born Again,” featuring Doja Cat and RAYE.
