Through her recent interview, BLACKPINK‘s Jennie announced she will be taking a break from her musical activities, leaving fans well served with new music and performances.
On August 3rd, Cosmopolitan magazine released the new photoshoot alongside the K-Pop star as the star of their new cover and an interview where she revealed many details of her upcoming album release and future plans.
In the middle of their conversation, the media revealed that after the release of her second studio album and the end of her festival tour, Jennie is preparing to take a break focused on herself and her own desires and interests.
“Jennie is ready to finally have some time to just be. She’s already dreaming of trotting around Europe, visiting sun-soaked beaches and sipping Aperol Spritzes between dips in the ocean.”
Cosmopolitan reveals that JENNIE will be taking a break after her second album is out and her festival circuit is finished.

In addition, the BLACKPINK member hopes to experiment more with fashion and have time to organise an elegant dinner for her friends where she would like to serve homemade drinks, as she revealed, “I want to learn how to do the little shaky things and make a pretty cocktail.”
The idol concluded this idea with a message that explains the importance of this break: “I’m leaving a blank space in my head to see if there’s anything else I want to reach for” demonstrating fans that even this way she is working on her next comeback.
