We all have something very precious that takes us back to our childhood, be it an object, a scent or a food, but without a doubt, it is the house where we grew up that fills us with memories that are hard to forget, and what we least want is for something to happen to it, unfortunately, Beyoncé could not do anything to prevent the catastrophe that occurred during Christmas Day.
Beyonce’s house burns down during the Christmas season
Beyoncé is an international artist, but it was not always so, when she was a child she lived in a house in Houston Texas which caught fire on Christmas day and caused many firefighters to go to put out the fire. The fire was reported at two o’clock in the early hours of Christmas Day.
The fire crew arrived on the scene three to five minutes after the call, according to the Houston Chronicle. The Beyoncé family purchased the Rosedale Street house in 1982. Up until the age of five, the singer and her family resided at the house.
“We had it contained in about 10 minutes,” Houston Fire Department District Chief Justin Barnes told the outlet.
We know that the singer is very rooted to her roots because even when she had a stopover for her Renaissance tour, she decided to go to the house that was once her home and even took pictures to remember it, never imagining that later that house would catch fire.
And lest you worry about the people who lived in that house, they all made it out safely, but what caused it is still under investigation, according to The Associated Press.
