Through a recent TMZ report, Angus Cloud‘s mother reflects on the ‘Euphoria’ finale in honor of her late son who died amid his successful performance in the series, changing the course of the story.

At the third and last season of the HBO series, it was revealed that the character was arrested, but by the end, before Rue suffered a fatal overdose, she saw a report which revealed that Fez escaped from prison and decided to go look for him.
When she was at the gas station where he used to sell drugs, an unreleased clip of Fez and Rue together and smiling at the horizon appeared on the screen as a hallucination, becoming a moving tribute to his memory for all fans and his family.

In conversation with TMZ, Angus Cloud’s mother reflects on this tribute praising the way they keep the character memoir alive in ‘Euphoria’: “The massive public emotional outpouring on social media honouring my beloved son’s beautiful soul says everything.”
The media said she “feels show creator Sam Levinson did a wonderful job paying tribute to Angus, and she 100 per cent trusted Sam and his wife, Ashley Lent Levinson”. Although she didn’t know about this tribute to her son at the end of the series, she had suspicions.
When did Angus Cloud pass away?
The actor died in July 2023 at the age of 25 from an accidental overdose of a lethal combination of drugs while facing mourning for his father and difficulties with his mental health.
