Recently, news that has caused an impact around the world was revealed, and it is that Prince Harry lost his legal battle against the British press and must pay them a fine, as the judge strongly rejected his request to open a trial against the Mail on Sunday for publishing false information about the Duke.
In February 2022, the Mail on Sunday wrote an article accusing Prince Harry of having repeatedly ‘lied‘ to try to use his influence in the United Kingdom to obtain police protection in the country, trying to keep everything secret, as legally he had no right to do so.
After reading this article, Harry decided to start a lawsuit against the Mail on Sunday for defamation; however, this Friday, December 8th, 2023, a judge rejected the request of the Duke of Sussex as he does not have such a solid argument to proceed with these accusations.
After the judge rejected the lawsuit, the British justice has informed Prince Harry that he will have to pay a fine of 48,447 pounds, which translates into approximately 60 thousand US dollars, before December 29th.
