Kim Jin Young gained a lot of popularity by being one of the participants of the popular reality show ‘Single’s Inferno‘ on the streaming platform Netflix, where he was an aspirant to find love. He made his appearance in the second season, and his pleasant personality made him win the affection of the audience.

This project allowed him to get deeper into the world of acting, and soon he will have the opportunity to demonstrate his talent, as he was announced as part of the cast of a new K-Drama based on a webtoon that reached great popularity in Korea called ‘Child Shopping‘, this being his debut as an actor.

The Korean drama will be distributed under the name ‘iShopping‘. This will have an emotional story about children who have been returned after being adopted. At the moment, there is not much information regarding this production; it was only shared that we could see a lot of action in this drama.

Recently, Kim Jin Young made a statement for the media, Sports Chosun, in which he confessed that until now he had not very clear what role he would play, and he has not received a dialogue yet since this project is still in a very early stage, but whatever the character is, he will do his best.

The confirmation of his participation was revealed by the entertainment director, who stated “Dex (Jin Young) will appear in the new drama directed by Oh Ki Hwan and finally try luck in acting“. The YouTuber has received good messages from fans, wishing him much success in this new project.

The Webtoon by the writer Eom Se Yoon, which will be based on this upcoming drama, is popular in Kakao due to its great narrative and excellent illustration by Ryu Ga Myeong. So much is said about this story in Korea that it has drawn the attention of directors who are now interested in turning it into a K-Drama.
