That’s what inspired me since I was young: I didn’t know anything about death or anything like that; the doctor would tell me ‘your dog is not going to live very long’ and that made me cold and I didn’t understand anything, but it left me thinking… I only knew about death from my friends or what I saw in movies. For me, the perfect mix is to make films that are personal and loveable… Besides, that’s the beauty of stop motion, it’s like puppets; it has an antique feel and it’s very beautiful.
