The Hole is a 2019 Spanish film directed by Galder Gaztelu-Urruti with a shocking, terrifying and unusual plot.

The story focuses on a vertical prison with many floors between them, but with a huge hole in the center that gives as the title of the film, “The Hole”. Each day a platform falls with luxurious food filled with the finest delicacies. However, those on the first level are the first to eat and enjoy the food the most. Every few minutes, the platform drops to the next level for everyone to eat, and this happens over countless levels.

Low-level individuals are forced to eat the leftovers of their predecessors. And because food is the only thing that matters, as everyone’s survival depends on it, they continue to commit all kinds of atrocities.
