GOT7 fans have not received good news for Christmas.
A report from TV Daily shows that member Jinyoung is negotiating a new contract with the agency BH Entertainment, which handles actors such as Lee Byung Hun, Kim Go Eun, Park Bo Young, and Jin Goo. GOT7’s full contract with JYP Entertainment expires in January 2021.
JYP confirmed the information to the South Korean press, but expressed their desire to renew with all the members of the group.
“It is true that the exclusive contract with GOT7 will expire in January 2021.
We are discussing various future plans with the members,”
The agency said. Jinyoung has been surveyed by some businessmen.

According to TV Daily, a former JYP Entertainment executive also contacted him. But he is even more included in signing with BH Entertainment to work as an actor.
A representative from BH Entertainment attempted to discuss the matter.
“We don’t hear anything about an exclusive contract,”
he said. Apparently nothing has been decided yet.
But it is possible that Jinyoung will renew with JYP without exclusivity, so he could also sign with BH to work as an actor.
The boyband GOT7 was created in 2014. In November, they released their latest album, called “Breath of Love: Last Piece“. The video for “Breath” came out just before the album’s release. The song was composed by member Youngjae, but that doesn’t stop it from showing all of the group’s unity. For the video, everyone is walking through a picturesque city, seemingly unaware of each other, as if they don’t know each other.
There is no scene in which the whole group meets to dance. It is not a clip in which the choreography is highlighted, in fact, giving more emphasis to the performances of the artists.
