Prince Harry gave up on his royal title in 2020 to start a new life with his wife, Meghan Markle, in the United States. After being at the center of a lot of controversies and being the target of several attacks, they both decided that they wanted to have a calmer life and distanced themselves from the royal family.
Harry’s decision did not come as a surprise to many after he published his memoir, Spare, and revealed some outrageous details about what he and Meghan had to go through before getting married. Despite this, Buckingham Palace confirmed earlier this month that the Duke of Sussex will attend the coronation and was invited by King Charles III himself.
However, a new controversy sparked online after it was reported that Harry will sit in the 10th row during the event while his brother, Prince William, will be sitting closer to Charles and Camilla Parker. A clear sign that the relationship between Harry and his family is still broken and some people even said that this would be humiliating for him.
On top of that, Dr. Peter Johnston, a military historian, explained in True Royalty TV’s “The Royal Beat” that it is possible that Harry will not be allowed to wear his military uniform, unlike William who is surely going to wear it.
“I imagine Harry won’t wear (his) uniform. I imagine he’ll wear his medals but quite where he fits within the procession and where he comes, I think will be probably reasonably similar to where he was at the funeral as well.”
During the event, Prince Harry will definitely go through a hard and difficult moment because he is going to be on his own. His family wants him to be as far as possible from them and even Meghan Markle decided to stay in California with their children.
