Hugh Jackman has disclosed that he underwent two tests as a precaution against basal cell carcinoma, a form of skin cancer that has plagued him for years.
Since 2013, the actor has undergone a number of surgical procedures to remove exactly these transparent lumps that develop in the body parts that are most frequently exposed to the sun.
He says in a video on Instagram that he recently visited the doctor, who found two small spots that “may or may not” be basal cells, which is why he took the tests. He is seen in the video with a small dressing on his nose.
