Finally it has come to light what R’Bonney Gabriel, Miss Universe of the 71st edition, felt when she was accused in an extreme way by millions of netizens, and after winning the crown as Miss USA, the new sovereign of the world beauty was accused of committing fraud.
The 71st edition of the most important beauty pageant in the world, Miss Universe, took place last January 14th, where more than 80 countries competed for the title of Miss Universe. When the three finalists were announced, Miss Venezuela, Miss Dominican Republic and Miss United States competed for the crown.
The jury after deliberating the highest scores of the candidates, made the decision to crown R’Bonney Gabriel as the new winner, and Amanda Dudamel as first finalist, but just minutes after announcing the election, followers branded the contest as a complete fraud, since the public was always with Miss Venezuela.

However, the new representative of the pageant had already given statements of how she felt when millions of people in her own country accused her of having cheated everyone to become Miss USA. “What explanations do you have against the two accusations of fraud that you have had?”.
The 28-year-old said that she felt sad and that the investigation is being done to prove that no fraud was generated and assured that rumors will always arise whatever the news: “Despite the rumors, I want to prove to the world that I am honest.” You can watch the full interview here:
