BTS‘ RM has a reputation for losing items easily, even those that don’t belong to him. In a video for BTS Festa 2014, V revealed how the leader asked to borrow his headphones and regretted accepting.
As Taehyung recounted how it all started, he said that he only had that pair of headphones, but he still decided to lend them to him trusting his friend. However, after a week RM still hadn’t returned them, so V asked him where they were and the rapper replied:
“Where are they? Ouch! Maybe it’s in the recording studio“
As soon as they heard this the other members began to laugh and mock that those words meant that he had lost them. Then, Taehyung continued the story, a month later he asked again where his headphones were and RM decided to tell the truth.

The idol was honest in confessing that he had lost them and added that he would buy her a new pair. For his part, V wasn’t upset, and told him that he didn’t have to buy him anything.
However, some time later Taehyung saw the BTS leader wearing the same headphones that he had lent him.
As everyone listened intently to the story, Suga jokingly added that RM had stolen Taehyung’s headphones making the boys laugh.
Then, the rapper shared his version of the story, in his defense he clarified that he had really lost his member’s headphones, but he got them under his bed some time later and he didn’t know that these were V’s but he thought it was his own headphones. RM concluded that he eventually returned them to his owner.
