King Charles III briefly resumed his activities during the summer break in Balmoral to celebrate a special day, the Independence Day of the Ukrainian people. The King and the Queen of the United Kingdom released a short but heartfelt message on the occasion.
On August 24, the Monarch of the United Kingdom expressed his admiration for the courage and resilience of the Ukrainian people and wished Ukraine peace, security, and prosperity.

“My wife and I are delighted to have the opportunity to extend our sincere congratulations to you and the people of Ukraine on the occasion of Independence Day.”
Despite the last unfortunate moments Ukraine has gone through over the years, the Ukrainian people are the perfect example of resilience, and that’s why King Charles III resonates with them, marking another sincere congratulations from the King to the people. In the morning, Volodymyr Zelenskyy also congratulated Ukrainians on Independence Day.
