KATSEYE showed support for their members, Sophia Laforteza and Manon Bannerman, during their recent appearance on NBC’s “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” which aired on August 13, 2026. Before the interview, the host pointed out that the group looked different from their February 2026 appearance because Sophia and Manon are currently on hiatus. Member Lara Raj said the group has a lot of love and support for both members and thanked the fans.

“We have nothing but so much love and support for Sophia and Manon, and it’s beautiful to see how the Eyekons (KATSEYE’s fandom name) give them so much support and also continue to support us as we’re here.”

The interview came one day before the scheduled release of “Wild,” which is set for August 14, 2026. The members described the project with words such as “maturity” and “growing up.” Lara also discussed “Unloveu,” a song she wrote for the international and Target editions of the album. She said that writing a song for the group had been “my biggest goal for years.” Meanwhile, member Daniela talked about the demanding choreography for the upcoming track “Hootie Frutti,” describing it as “stamina-killing.” The (provisional) 4-member team also took over the talk show’s stage to perform their most recent single, “Animal.” Watch their performance below:

Fallon also highlighted several important moments from KATSEYE’s recent year, including an American Music Award win, a Grammy nomination, and a 2026 Coachella set. The girl group recalled meeting Ed Sheeran, who assisted as a songwriter for their track “Animal,” at France’s NRJ Awards. Meanwhile, KATSEYE is now preparing for its next major step with their “Wildworld” arena tour in September 2026.
