During a recent press conference, Hyunjin reveals Stray Kids‘ position on the Grammys’ new Asian Pop category, demonstrating what is most important to them.

On August 6th, the boy group reunited with media outlets to promote an ad that introduced their upcoming mini album, ‘THIS & THAT,’ which is set for official release on August 7th, while answering some questions about this comeback and future plans.

Amid this talk, they were asked about the newly established ‘Best Asian Pop Music Performance’ category at the Grammy Awards, to which Hyunjin responded with sincerity, making their priority as a group clear.

“Throughout our time as Stray Kids, we never once set awards or records as our goal. With this album we want to show and prove to everyone that we’re capable of doing all kinds of things.”

The idol concluded, expressing that STAY is their most important motivation to continue making good music: “Our absolute priority is to make our fans feel satisfied and happy,” earning much praise for this position amid the controversial Grammy category.
