CJ ENM has unveiled, this Thursday, the list of artists who will participate in the Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA, according to its acronym in English), the largest annual event of end-of-year music awards in the K-pop music industry.
The awards will take place on December 11, at the CJ ENM Content Studio, located in Seoul, South Korea.
This year’s edition will feature K-pop girl bands aespa, Brave Girls, and ITZY, and K-pop boy groups ATEEZ, ENHYPEN, INI, and JO1.
NCT’s subunits – NCT 127 and NCT DREAM – were confirmed to be doing their performances, as well as Stray Kids and Tomorrow X Together (TXT).
On the other hand, rookie K-pop group Kep1er, consisting of the winners of the music television channel Mnet’s “Girls Planet 999: The Girls Saga” audition program, will be performing at the awards ahead of their debut.

Additionally, Wanna One from the idol production show “Produce 101” and all 8 dance teams from Mnet’s dance survival show “Street Woman Fighter” will be appearing at the awards.
British singer Ed Sheeran will also perform, in a pre-recorded video, at the annual music event. CJ ENM plans to announce an additional list of artists later, once their participation is confirmed, adding that they are coordinating the schedule with other groups and soloists.
