The Kpop boy band TREASURE has returned with a bold new sound rooted in YG Entertainment’s signature hip-hop style. The boys who already showcased an impressive momentum with “NEW WAVE” are ready to succeed once again in the Kpop industry.
On June 1, YG Entertainment reported that TREASURE’s fourth mini-album, “NEW WAVE,” surpassed 1 million pre-orders ahead of its official release, putting the group on track to become a million seller and join some of the biggest names in the Kpop industry that have collected this milestone.
The album is built solely around hip-hop foundations, making a strong statement about the Kpop sound and proving there are many genres within it. The boys already released their title track, “If,” and they’re ready to launch the “NEW WAVE” album and tour from Sept. 19 to 21 at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul.
