In recent reports was revealed that Kim Go Eun donates 50 million KRW to Seoul National University Children’s Hospital on Children’s Day to continue her annual tradition to help young people in need.
On May 5th KST, her agency BH Entertainment made a statement announcing the actress’s charitable project, which will be used to assist young patients facing financial difficulties for six consecutive years since 2021.
“Kim Go Eun donated 50 million KRW (approx. 33,879 USD) to Seoul National University Children’s Hospital to support treatment for low-income patients.”

Kim Go Eun revealed that she started doing charitable work as a way to repay fans for their support, but she was later moved by the power of her contributions, expressing her intentions of continuing with her donations:
“I will strive to become an actress who can repay the love I’ve received by giving back to more people.”
The actress is currently promoting her TVING series in emission, ‘Yumi’s Cells Season 3,’ the third and final season in which she stars alongside Kim Jae-won. Meanwhile, she is simultaneously filming her upcoming Netflix project ‘Soul,’ a historical romantic drama with Gang Dong-won.
