BTS is currently dominating the South Korean music program circuits, just like Inkigayo, with their wide popularity in South Korea. These programs award the most popular songs of the week based on the public’s votes and the K-charts. So, it’s no surprise that BTS is taking them by storm.
On March 29, a new episode of SBS’ Inkigayo was broadcast. The show, as usual, had an amazing lineup of performers, including ITZY’s Yuna, VERIVERY’s Kangmin, Yena, Baby DONT Cry, MAMAMOO’s Moonbyul, CSR, AB6IX, NouerA, H1-KEY, DIGNITY, S2IT, AtHeart, ALL(H)OURS, ODD YOUTH, cosmosy, Kim Eui Young, V01D, and AmbiO.
BTS’s fans, better known as ARMY, couldn’t wait until the hosts took over the stage to announce the candidates for first place. BTS’s “SWIM,” IVE’s “BANG BANG,” and KiiiKiii’s “404 (New Era)” were all competing for the crown, but only BTS emerged victorious and added another jewel to their heavy crown. The boys won the title with a total of 7,245 points. Congratulations to BTS!
