BLACKPINK’s Rosé’s “APT” becomes the fastest music video by a female artist to hit 2.4 billion views on YouTube

BLACKPINK’s Rosé revolutionized the music scene with her grand collaboration with Bruno Mars on her song, “APT.” The idol perfectly dabbled in the American market and became a global phenomenon that is still the talk of the town for her amazing song.

On March 26 KST, the music video for “APT” reached the iconic mark of 2.4 billion views on YouTube. The music video was originally released on October 18, 2024, at 1 p.m. KST, meaning that it took the video just over one year, five months, and eight days to reach the milestone.

Rosé has also achieved another milestone by becoming the fastest music video by an Asian artist to surpass 2.4 billion views, and becoming the fastest music video by a female artist to reach this mark.

“APT” becomes the fourth fastest music video to reach the milestone overall, bested only by y Luis Fonsi’s “Despacito” (featuring Daddy Yankee), Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You,” and Maroon 5’s “Girls Like You” (featuring Cardi B). Congratulations to Rosé and Bruno Mars for another milestone.
