A few hours ago, the first teaser trailer for HBO Max‘s ‘Harry Potter‘ reboot series was finally released, featuring the new actors who will play these iconic characters in an exciting, up-to-date version of this magical story.

On March 25th, the streaming service officially shared the first images of its upcoming reboot series based on the Harry Potter story titled ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone‘ as well as confirming its release date for Christmas Day this year, 2026.

The trailer follows Harry having a difficult life living with his Aunt Petunia, who, during his 11th birthday, told him that “there is nothing special about you,” but an admission letter from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry changed his life.

This new world will bring to Harry’s life friendship and magic but also many adventures that come with great risk, as he will face a dangerous enemy from his past, following the events in J.K. Rowling’s blockbuster books.

The series will star Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley, John Lithgow as Albus Dumbledore, Janet McTeer as Minerva McGonagall, Paapa Essiedu as Severus Snape, Nick Frost as Rubeus Hagrid, Rory Wilmot as Neville Longbottom, and Lox Pratt as Draco Malfoy.
