Fans connect Lowe’s video to BTS
Zane Lowe shared a short video that quickly caught the attention of BTS fans on Tuesday, March 17, 2026. The clip, posted without a caption, shows the Apple Music host standing inside a dance studio with mirrored walls, wooden floors, and a basketball hoop. While the room may have seemed ordinary to some viewers, many fans immediately thought it was BTS’s practice room. That sneak peek led ARMY (the name BTS fans have) to suspect that the music journalist could be preparing to interview the boy group on The Zane Lowe Show. Fans filled the post’s comments with messages saying that the location looked very familiar and that it might hint at an interview following the release of BTS’ new album. New music is on the way, with promotional activities

The reaction makes sense because BTS has used that practice space in many videos, livestreams, and photos over the years. One older dance practice video filmed in a previous version of the room has collected more than 172 million views on YouTube, so fans recognize this setting very well. In addition, the post came at an important moment for the group, as BTS first announced a break in 2022 so the members could focus on solo work and complete South Korea’s mandatory military service. After all seven members finished their service, they reunited and confirmed that new music was on the way, sparking fans’ excitement with group activities and promotional gigs.
BTS returns at a key moment with a new album
The timing has only made the rumors stronger. BTS’ fifth studio album, ARIRANG, will be released on March 20, 2026, accompanied by the title track SIWM. The group is also scheduled to hold their first show since 2022 on March 21, 2026, at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul. That concert will stream live on Netflix, marking a massive return for the boy band. In addition, Netflix will also premiere the documentary film BTS: The Return on March 27, focusing on the group’s reunion and the creative process behind ARIRANG. Meanwhile, Apple Music has not confirmed an interview, but fans clearly believe Lowe’s post was a sign to take into consideration. For now, ARMY is watching closely and waiting to see whether their wishes come true.
