Hudson Williams did not attend the ceremony
Hudson Williams did not grace the 2026 Actor Awards on March 1st, 2026, even though his Heated Rivalry co-star Connor Storrie appeared at the event as a presenter. The Canadian actor had been seen in New York City earlier that same weekend to support Connor Storrie during his Saturday Night Live hosting debut. He even made a brief and funny cameo in one of the sketches. After the show, Connor traveled to Los Angeles for the Actor Awards, but Hudson did not join him.

His absence was not totally unexpected

Hudson William’s absence did not come as a surprise to some fans and viewers, since he was never announced as a presenter. At the same time, the Canadian star is busy with several new projects following the success of Heated Rivalry, which has already been renewed for a second season. He was recently featured on the cover of Wonderland and also appeared in Balenciaga’s Heart and Body Fall 2026 campaign. In addition, the 25-year-old actor was spotted at Paris Fashion Week for the Balenciaga show, confirming his busy agenda.
He will return to filming later in 2026
In addition to fashion, Hudson Williams has been cast in Yaga, an eight-part mystery drama for the streamer Crave, which will be filmed in Toronto. Later this year, he and Connor Storrie are expected to return to shoot season two of Heated Rivalry. Director Jacob Tierney said production will begin in late summer 2026, and the second installment is expected to premiere in April 2027.
