In recent official reports, it was revealed that BLACKPINK‘s Lisa is set to star in a Netflix romantic comedy inspired by ‘Notting Hill,’ expanding even more her acting catalog with international productions.
On February 5th, Deadline reports the K-Pop idol will continue her acting career with a Netflix rom-com after her successful debut with her appearance in ‘The White Lotus‘ season 3 and her upcoming movie ‘Extraction: TAIGO.’
According to the media, Lisa will join the HBO series executive producer, David Bernad, on a new romantic comedy for Netflix, and although its premise is a secret, some sources assured that both artists developed the story at ‘The White Lotus’ set, inspired by their love for the ’99 classic ‘Notting Hill.’

After having this idea, Bernad and the BLACKPINK member would have tapped Katie Silberman, the in-demand comedy writer behind praised rom-coms like ‘Set It Up‘ and ‘Booksmart,’ to write the script of this movie, in which the Thai artist will also exec produce.
