In the new season, Benedict meets a mysterious woman known as the Lady in Silver during a masquerade ball. He later discovers that this lady is Sophie, a young maid with personal struggles and ambitions. The story follows their growing romance and the challenges surrounding their social positions.
Netflix confirms that the series will continue after season 4
Before season 4 was even released, Netflix renewed Bridgerton for both season 5 and season 6. The renewal announcement was released publicly in 2024. While the characters for the upcoming seasons haven’t been confirmed, producers have indicated that Francesca’s story is being prepared for later seasons. As of February 1, 2026, no official premiere dates have been announced for the next installments. However, Bridgerton Season 4 Part 1 is now available for streaming on Netflix.
