During a recent interview, Hudson Williams mentions BTS when reflecting on sudden fame and the huge wave of attention he is going through after the success of ‘Heated Rivalry.’
In conversation at the Shut Up Evan Podcast, the actor talks about his current status as a celebrity and how this is a completely different world than you could imagine from the outside, making him empathize with many big artists.
“When you see The Beatles, and when you see BTS, there’s an element of that’s not another human, but a celebrity. I couldn’t empathize—I thought I could empathize with it, but I couldn’t fully feel what they were going through until now.
Now, it’s brought a wave of sympathy because it’s not easy having paparazzi and having people constantly going, ‘Do this, sign this!’ It feels good to have people admire your work, but we go to pockets of places that I never thought we would be found. Lunch gets interrupted, and you always have to look nice.”
