LNGSHOT is a newly debuted KPop boy band that entered the music scene with a clear message of confidence and self-belief. The group officially debuted under Jay Park’s label, More Vision, focusing on authenticity and creative participation as the foundation of their identity as artists. Their debut EP, titled “Shot Callers,” introduces their direction and sets the tone for their future in the KPop industry.

LNGSHOT is pronounced as “long shot” and consists of four members: Louis, Ohyul, Woojin, and Ryul. Their official debut project, “Shot Callers,” includes five tracks: the lead song “Moonwalkin’” and the B-sides “Backseat,” “Saucin’,” “FaceTime,” and “Never Let Go.” All four members participated in writing, composing, and arranging the B-side tracks, something rare for most KPop groups. The lead track “Moonwalkin’” is based on R&B sounds and draws inspiration from Michael Jackson while expressing themes of uncertainty and determination.

Before their official debut, LNGSHOT released “Saucin’” as a pre-debut single in December 2025. They also appeared on stage with Jay Park at several events, including the 2025 Melon Music Awards. In September 2025, they gained attention after Jay Park posted a photo of the group holding up their middle fingers, sparking controversy among conservative KPop listeners.

“There are certain rules and boundaries that come to mind when we think of K-pop idols. Even if our trajectory or music doesn’t get well understood in the beginning, we plan to move forward with authenticity as the foundation of the group’s philosophy,” Jay Park revealed.

In the “Saucin’” music video, Jay Park plays a controlling CEO, which satirizes strict industry rules such as dating, swearing, and even getting cosmetic procedures. It looks like re-shaping norms and re-thinking approaches is the way Jay Park will work with his boy group. At the end of the day, he is prioritizing a human-to-human interaction, rather than a restrictive force.
