Stray Kids has gained major popularity in the United States with the latest release of their albums, “KARMA” and “DO IT.” Since then, the boys have been thriving in the charts and becoming a Kpop statement for American audiences.
Amid the promotions of “DO IT,” Stray Kids have shattered another amazing record in the United States. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) awarded Stray Kids’ 2020 hit “God’s Menu” an official platinum certification for over 1 million units sold in the territory.
Stray Kids become the second Kpop boy group ever to have a single certified platinum by the RIAA, following BTS. In addition, Stray Kids also earned five separate gold certifications from the RIAA this month, including “KARMA,” “★★★★★ (5-STAR),” “ROCK-STAR,” “ATE,” “MAXIDENT,” and “合 (HOP).”
Surely Stray Kids will be making another gold certification in the upcoming weeks with their newest album, “DO IT,” which is already making waves on different charts across the globe and South Korean music shows. Congratulations to the idols!
