Hailey Bieber is turning negativity into power! In her conversation with Owen Thiele on the “In Your Dreams” podcast, released on October 24th, 2025, she opened up about facing online trolls who have compared her looks to those of transgender women. Instead of taking offense, Hailey made it clear she sees it as a compliment.
“When people say, ‘She looks trans,’ I ask, why do you think that is an insult?” she answered. “Some of the most beautiful people in the world are trans.” She then added, “As if being trans is a diss? Or like, some of the most beautiful women in the world and men in the world are trans? So I just don’t take that offensively at all.”
Her honest response quickly went viral for its empowering tone. Hailey has long supported the LGBTQ+ community and even signed an open letter in 2023 asking Meta to take action against anti-trans content.

The Rhode Beauty founder has also spoken about body dysmorphia in August 2024 with Vogue. Every day I have to remind myself, Hailey, you grew a human. Give yourself grace,” she told the magazine. Despite giving birth being her most sensitive time, she’s moved forward with kindness, empathy and love for herself and her family.
