On August 15, GOT7’s Jackson Wang was rushed to the hospital after suffering severe food poisoning, forcing him to cancel a fan signing in Korea. His label, Team Wang Records, assured fans he’s under care and needs rest before coming back to charm fans, as per a report from Taiwanese media outlet ET Today.

The news has fans shocked, but Jackson’s schedule has been packed with different activities. Music Korea apologized for the cancelled meet and promised ticket refunds plus a rescheduled date. After the cancellation, Jackson Wang’s stans flooded social media with “get well soon” wishes, concerned about the health condition of the star.
Despite the setback, Jackson’s not slowing down for long. His third album, “Magic Man 2,” dropped July 18, 2025, delivering 11 tracks that are personal and introspective, in addition to the music video for “Made Me a Man.” His world tour kicks off October 3–4 in Bangkok, and fans are hopeful he’ll be healthy and ready to bring the magic man he is on stage.
