The animated phenomenon KPop Demon Hunters is proving unstoppable on the music charts. After briefly slipping to No. 2, the movie’s soundtrack climbed back to the top of the ARIA Albums Chart in mid-August 2025, securing its fifth non-consecutive week at No. 1. That achievement makes it the longest-running animated soundtrack since Trolls ruled for three weeks back in 2017. The groups in the move might be functional, but the hype is very real!
The soundtrack’s comeback knocked Adelaide’s “Hilltop Hoods” from the top spot, giving them only a short-lived #1. Meanwhile, Guy Sebastian’s “100 Times Around” the Sun claimed #2, MGK’s Lost Americana landed at #3, Cold Chisel filled #4 with “The Big Five-O Live,” and Ethel Cain rounded out the top five. Sprinkled further down the list were Babymetal’s Metal Forth at #30 and Good Charlotte’s Motel Du Cap at #47.
On the singles side, “Golden” from the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack held strong at No. 1 for its third week, joined by four more songs from the film in the Top 10. Alex Warren’s “Ordinary,” Justin Bieber’s “Daisies,” and Tinashe’s collab No Broke Boys also took a spot in the chart. Let’s break down the numbers here:
