KPop Demon Hunters is officially a record-breaker! Since its premiere on June 20, 2025, this animated K-pop fantasy has become Netflix’s most-watched animated film ever, racking up over 26.3 million views between July 21 and 27. The movie follows the fictional girl group HUNTR/X, who double as K-pop idols and supernatural demon hunters. It’s a full fantasy package with monsters, magic, and music.

But the best part? KPop Demon Hunters has become a massive success on the music charts, too. With nine original tracks made by producers and writers like Teddy Park, Lindgren, Jenna Andrews, and Stephen Kirk, the album debuted at number one on Billboard’s Soundtracks chart and number eight on the Billboard 200, and it’s now at #3. Similarly, the song “Golden” is currently peaking at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100.
