KATSEYE member Megan made a bold statement at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards 2025 when she came out as bisexual. During a live stream with fellow member Lara, she revealed that it wasn’t a calculated move, saying, “A lot of people have been kind of asking and spectating about my sexuality“. Feeling the pressure, she decided to open up. “I was scared at first,” she confessed, “but the love I’ve been getting is heartwarming.”

Fans noticed how uneasy Megan appeared when asked about coming out, sparking conversations online about privacy and respect. Together, the KATSEYE members hoped their openness would inspire and comfort fans who are struggling with their own identities. On the work front, KATSEYE is gearing up to release their mini-album “Beautiful Chaos” on June 27. This release has been preceded by the viral hits “Gnarly” and “Gabriela.”
