BLACKPINK’s Lisa has been releasing cryptic teasers of what seemed to be a new single from her era, after releasing, “Rockstar,” “New Woman (Feat. Rosalía)” and “Moonlit Floor.” However, the new teasers were completely focused on announcing her debut album!
On November 19, Lisa’s fans had the time of their lives after waiting patiently for this announcement. The 27-year-old rapper shared that her first-ever LP independent from BLACKPINK is titled “Alter Ego” and it is scheduled to be released on February 28, 2025.
In addition, Lisa took over her official social media accounts to unveil the project’s cover art, which features a sleek photo of a hooded Lisa showing off her black nails and staring directly at the camera. When everyone thought the surprises might be over, they were wrong.
BLACKPINK’s Lisa also released a three-minute album trailer, which expands the universe Lisa wanted to show her fans during the last couple of trailers she released. During the video, Lisa finds herself traveling from a black rock structure to a cyberpunk outer-space catwalk, connecting all the dots with her previous singles.
