The South Korean media outlets were shocked after they found out about the leaked internal document from HYBE. The controversy has soared to new heights and seems far to be over, as HYBE directly compared EXO’s Baekhyun to BTS’ Jungkook.
A new report from July 26, 2023, included gossip about EXO’s group activities and Baekhyun’s activities. The most highlighted fragment surrounds HYBE accusing Baekhyun of being “desperate” and comparing the “overly-casual” vibe of one of his broadcasts to Jungkook’s.
“It might be because EXO wasn’t able to come back as strongly as he hoped, and/or perhaps because he can’t help but notice his own position is becoming unstable. But he seems to be feeling a bit desperate. He even went live on Instagram at 7 AM to show fans his morning stretching routine with a foam roller. While he has always been good at communicating with fans, showcasing such an overly casual side makes it hard to say he hasn’t been influenced by Jungkook.”
BTS fans and EXO fans are completely outraged towards HYBE because of their reckless behavior in the Kpop scene. The leaked reports also revealed even more Kpop companies, idols, fandoms, and even cultures disrespected.
