Celine Dion’s team isn’t staying quiet after discovering that her iconic song “My Heart Will Go On” was played at a Donald Trump campaign rally in Bozeman, Montana. The politician’s track choice left many scratching their heads, but the singer’s team quickly slammed the unauthorized use.

Taking to social media on August 10th, Celine Dion’s representatives expressed their frustration with Trump’s use of the Grammy-winning song without authorization. The statement revealed that neither Dion nor her label approved of the track being featured at the rally.

In addition, the vocalist’s team revealed that they did not endorse the political message it was attached to. As if that wasn’t enough, they added a sprinkle of sass to their statement, subtly shading the presidential candidate for his choice. “..And really, THAT song?” they cheekily expressed.

This is not the first time Donald Trump has faced backlash from artists for using their music during his political events. Celine Dion joins The Rolling Stones, Adele, and Rihanna, who have all expressed their discontent with their music being used similarly. Meanwhile, Celine Dion recently returned to the spotlight by impressing fans in the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics.
