Recent reports have revealed BTS‘ V first solo album, ‘Layover‘, achieved a massive new sales record in the United States, proving his huge influence as a solo artist worldwide and making all his fans proud of his achievement.
The idol’s new record is that the six tracks that make up his solo album ‘Rainy Days‘, ‘Blue‘, ‘Love Me Again‘, ‘Slow Dancing‘, ‘For Us‘, and ‘Slow Dancing (piano version)’ have sold over 100,000 units in the United States, which is the biggest music market in the worldwide industry.

With this new achievement, V managed to become the first K-Pop soloist to reach these numbers with an album. This is a surprising hit considering he was the only BTS member who did not have promotional activities in the American country for his solo debut.
However, the idol’s album also managed to reach other important milestones, such as becoming the first album by a K-pop soloist in history to have every song surpass 100 million streams on Spotify and being named one of the top K-pop albums of 2023 by Billboard and Time Out.
