The most curious and eagle-eyed fans have noticed that in Pixar‘s new production, ‘Inside Out 2‘, there are hidden references. Here are some of the ones that have caught the attention of viewers and that may be related to the history of the company.

In the trailer, the first reference is shown when Riley is asleep in her room, and on her wall she has a poster of ‘4 Town‘, the boyband that appears in the movie ‘Red‘. Another very clear one would be the blouse that Riley tries to use at the beginning of the movie, and it is too small for her, as it was the same one she used in the first installment.

Experts call these references ‘easter eggs‘ because they are hidden in plain sight, like the American tradition of Easter eggs, and ‘Inside Out 2’ has many, such as the iconic ‘Pizza Planet‘ truck from ‘Toy Story‘ that Joy has in her room or the appearance of Lenny, the binoculars from the same franchise that are used by Sadness.

Pixar took advantage of this production of ‘Inside Out 2’ to put many easter eggs for their fans who were eager to discover them, and no doubt they have been pleased with the number of references included, such as the number 28 on Riley’s field hockey jersey, which alludes to the number of movies created by the studio.
