ASTRO‘s Cha Eunwoo recently made an appearance on “You Quiz On The Block” hosted by Jo Se Ho y Lee Jae Suk. During the show, the idol opened up about his feelings and the way he’s been trying to cope with the death of band mate and friend Moonbin, who passed away on April 19th, 2023 to suicide.
He first admitted that last year was difficult for him, and he tried to express the grief of losing his fellow member through lyrics and music. Unfortunately, he often felt overwhelmed by these feelings and saw Moonbin in his dreams.
“I felt guilty. He appears in my dreams. When someone asks if I’m okay, I don’t want to answer. I just want to do better, that’s why I’m working hard. I think that’s what Binnie would want.”
Finally, the “True Beauty” actor sent Moonbin a message as the show was reaching its end. He revealed they both were deeply connected and shared a nostalgic sentiment that surely resonates with AROHA (that’s the name ASTRO fans have). These were Cha Eunwoo’s words:
“Binnie, are you doing well? I miss you,” he confessed. “Don’t worry, I’m fulfilling your share. Let’s meet again.”
