Charli D’Amelio and Landon Barker have separated and the news has invaded the social networks who always showed great interest in this young love affair, so the news that they will no longer be together has caused many rumors to spread, so the influencer himself has come out to confirm the breakup.
The TikTok star and the son of Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler revealed their breakup on the latter’s Instagram Story late on Tuesday, following over a year together. The two even appeared on their first magazine cover together in April 2023 when they starred in Mini V, a V spinoff that catered to young people. The couple seemed to be very happy together including their projects, but apparently it is very different from what we expected.
The couple is no longer dating, she revealed in a post on her Instagram Story Wednesday morning, more than a year after they began dating. When Charli D’Amelio, 19, and Landon, 20, were spotted together after the musician’s concert in Los Angeles in June 2022, speculation of romance initially surfaced. That same month, PEOPLE revealed they were dating, and in July, the couple made their social media debut.
“Hey everyone, I’d like to let you know that Charli D’Amelio and I are no longer together,” Landon wrote. “We have broken up to focus on ourselves.”
Landon, concluded his announcement by saying he was “grateful” for the time he and D’Amelio, spent together and asked fans to “respect” his decision. Without a doubt they were one of our favorite couples, but now that they’ve decided to go their separate ways we’re excited to see what else they’ll do next.
