Dakota Johnson mocks Justin Timberlake on SNL
A new episode of one of the most famous comedy shows across the United States recently premiered, and it’s Dakota Johnson led us with a pretty funny monologue with Justin Timberlake.
“I think the big problem is that I say things and then they write them and, and it’s really unfair because most of the time I’m joking,” she joked.
Later during her monologue, the Fifty Shades of Grey actress called out Justin Timberlake as the evening’s musical guest, but the singer and actor jumped at the chance to take the stage. As Johnson stood there looking confused, Timberlake said he assumed he was also the host, saying, “If you want me to be in sketches, I’ve hosted before,” as he raised his hand to show that he had hosted SNL five times before.
In response, Johnson said, “Yeah, well, that was 10 years ago. … I mean, anyway, I’m very happy that you picked my show for your comeback.”
The Hollywood Reporter claims Timberlake revealed his impending world tour, Forget Tomorrow World Tour, during his appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon on Thursday, just days before the news announcement. With the tour set to kick off April 29 in Vancouver, Canada, Timberlake is well aware that performing on the legendary Saturday Night Live stage is the best way to generate attention.
