In recent hours, a representative of the Duchess of York gave an official statement to People revealing that Sarah Ferguson has been diagnosed with skin cancer. This is her second diagnosis of this serious illness.
“Following her diagnosis with an early form of breast cancer this summer, Sarah, Duchess of York, has now been diagnosed with malignant melanoma“. The royal member went to analyze some of her moles, and one of them was identified as cancerous.
Ferguson thanked the whole medical staff to help make the diagnosis; in addition, “She believes her experience underlines the importance of checking the size, shape, color, and texture and the emergence of new moles that can be a sign of melanoma“.
“She is undergoing further investigations to ensure that this has been caught in the early stages“, added her representative.
