Just a few hours ago, on January 15th, the actress Park Min Young received accusations of lying and receiving money from her criminal ex-boyfriend from the renowned Korean media outlet Dispatch, but her agency has responded in defense of their artist.
The news media revealed a photo that demonstrated the actress received a sum of 250 million won (about $190,000) in her personal account from Kang Jong Hyun, which could involve her in the illicit acts of the man who was in financial scandals.

“Actress Park Min Young was investigated in February 2023 due to the fact that Kang Jong Hyun had used her bank account. Through the investigation, it was proven that Park Min Young hadn’t done anything illegal and that she had never profited from taking part in something illegal“, said Hook Entertainment.
“The ₩250 million KRW (about $190,000 USD) reported in the article was used by Park Min Young’s bank account by Kang Jong Hyun. It wasn’t used for Park Min Young’s expenses“, the agency continued explaining the facts of the case.
“Park Min Young has been accused of many things that aren’t true. Still, the actress accepted the criticism, regrets her past decisions, and is reflecting on her actions. (…) We hope that the groundless speculation stops and that the defamation no longer continues“, ended the company.
